HorsePower is a group program for children and youth ages 8 to16.  It is a progressive learning experience that runs 6 sessions on alternting weekends in the Spring and again in the Fall Season. Each child is matched with a horse or pony and a volunteer staff person for the Season.  Commitment, cooperation, respect, trust, hard work and healthy interaction are key values in this program.  Participants learn grooming, handling, and riding skills, along with understanding about horses and working with others.  There are approximately 35 openings each year.

Registration opens in February for the Spring Seasons and in July for the Late Summer and Fall Season.

We offer a sliding fee scale so that cost is not a barrier. Some scholarships are available.  Since the inception of this outreach program, we have served more than 350 children and teens from all over Greater Cincinnati and Warren County.
